I gave up waiting for this when it was only 1 year late — a year ago.

I’m the owner of an HD DirecTiVo box. As far as I’m concerned, DirecTV has until the end of 2011 to ship a new, Series 4 TiVo box. In January, I’m giving up and switching to Comcast and a “real”, full-featured TiVo box. Get with the program, DirecTV!
How about the HR34-700 DVR?
The last of my old DVR40s gave up and died while i had been waiting for the HD Tivo for DTV. I have been force to give up and go with their POS. Thanks Tivo/Directv
