{"id":692,"date":"2009-10-13T08:23:39","date_gmt":"2009-10-13T15:23:39","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.wkblog.com\/tivo\/?p=692"},"modified":"2009-10-13T08:23:39","modified_gmt":"2009-10-13T15:23:39","slug":"blockbuster-on-tivo-is-live","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.wkblog.com\/tivo\/2009\/10\/blockbuster-on-tivo-is-live\/","title":{"rendered":"Blockbuster on TiVo is Live"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We haven&#8217;t tried it yet, but according to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.engadget.com\/2009\/10\/13\/blockbuster-on-demand-goes-live-on-tivo-boxes\/\">Engadget<\/a>, you can now pay to stream movies from Blockbuster on your TiVo.<\/p>\n<p>Really, this isn&#8217;t a whole lot different from the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.weaknees.com\/unbox\">Amazon Video On Demand<\/a> (formerly Unbox) streaming that has been available for a few years, but it is different from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.weaknees.com\/netflix\">Netflix<\/a> streaming in three key ways: it costs money, there is a wider selection of movies, and it&#8217;s available on Series 2 units.<\/p>\n<p>The latest info about this that we could find on TiVo&#8217;s site is still a signup page for info. That&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.tivo.com\/mytivo\/blockbusterontivo.html\">here<\/a>.
