The video (and we do have one) is probably worth 10,000. The “mat” here flaps in the breeze. It’s really something.

    My Tivo was hesitating and pixalating freezing and resetting so I opened it up and found lots of dust, but no spiderwebs. I cleaned it out with a vacuum and put it back together. It ran fine after that, but still is a bit flaky. I suspect the hard drive is nearing the end of it’s life.

    We have a golden retriever whose hair gets everywhere. I wouldn’t be surprised if our units didn’t look a lot like that. ;-)

    Hmm, maybe we should open them up and vacuum the dust and fur out?

    I do a spring cleaning of the inside of my TiVo’s for this reason!
