My TiVo TCD240080 still powers up, fan spins, lights come on, and I get the on-screen that says "Welcome. Powering Up...", I can hear the hard drive begin to load. However, after a minute, it stops loading and sticks at that screen. I thought it a potentially bad HDD, WK also recommended a new HDD. So I put in a brand-spankin-new hard drive. Same issue. However, when it starts to load, I hear the hard drive begin to access, BUT, while it is loading, I hear the hard drive spin down, back up, then down, and back up. Which leads me to believe it is power supply related. The new hard drive is more power hungry than the old one, or is apparently more sensitive to power low condition than the old drive. I've not connected a DMM to the PS, but, I'm sure I'd see something power related if I did.
